CLIENT: THE NEUROSCIENTIST YOGI

A brand new build is a blank canvas. But this couple wanted more. They wanted to infuse their personalities into the space, right from the get-go. A juxtaposition of industrial style and geometric angles balanced with an undertone of softness and zen calm; a mix that described them perfectly. Oh, and also, we have two rambunctious large dogs and a new baby, so it all has to work with them - stylish, family friendly and easy to maintain to the max. Check! In came the steel, tempered glass and concrete, so that nothing could tip over. We also designed and custom-made the Powder Room vanity. The wallpapers went up: grasscloth as well as black crocodile textured. The organic elements set against the industrial. The fabrics are all stain resistant Crypton. The rugs are recycled and washable. And we finished with a flourish: luxurious sheepskin thrown onto every hard surface we could find. Now we just want to curl up on that swing and take it all in…
